Diontwanette Mack-Parker
Diontwanette Mack-Parker, LLMSW

I believe that all things work together for my good and all things are possible if you just believe. I am compassionate about helping others and assisting others with knowing their self-worth is one of the most valuable things that life has to offer. For the past 14 years, I have worked with families who were unable to break family cycles involving childhood trauma, substance abuse, physical and mental abuse as well as neglect. I am interested in helping others work through depression, anxiety, PTSD, and past traumatic events. Together, we can work to build goals to reduce negative emotions that may hinder being your best self.

Helping individuals understand their roles in life is key to breaking cycles. Focusing on resolutions as opposed to focusing on the problem is the key to acknowledgment of self-worth, self-love, and growth. I enjoy working with individuals to help them bring forth positive change.

I am committed to maintaining a safe environment where you can express your innermost thoughts without judgment, embarrassment or shame. I have a wealth of knowledge regarding community resources that can assist with making connections to assist you with personal and/or professional needs.

Reed Stewart, LMSW
Reed Stewart, LMSW

Reed Stewart is a fully-licensed psychotherapist and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. With over 20 years of experience in multiple settings in different parts of the country, Reed is able to access a broad experiential base to assist his clients with a wide variety of issues in ways that are identified as most effective on a person-by-person basis. He engaged in graduate studies in both Utah and Alaska. He has worked in psychiatric hospital settings, residential treatment centers, residential substance use centers, juvenile justice facilities and residential settings. He has experience working with at-risk youth in a super-maximum security penitentiary, outpatient community mental health, and has done significant private practice work and contract work in evidence-based DBT and other effective treatments.

Reed's years of experience in evidence-based, scientifically valid treatment modalities leave him uniquely suited to help people with often complex and difficult-to-treat issues. Reed was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in 2004 and has operated with that as one of his specializations while helping people to address problems with personality disorders, unremitting mood disorders, substance use disorders, and other challenging issues. He has also trained clinicians, agencies, and organizations in the adoption, execution, and clinical practice of DBT. Reed has successfully treated people who have suffered with depression, anxiety,, and other mood disorders. He is also well-versed in assisting people with ADHD. He has been trained in evidence-based treatments for trauma and has helped many people work through traumatic experiences.

Reed was honored to be able to work personally with the inventor of DBT, Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., in the practices of mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies, which she included in the development of her treatment. As a result, he incorporates this "technology of the mind" into his work where appropriate. As a part of this, he is able to teach meditation.

Reed believes that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist must be a real relationship between equals and that it is one of the most important aspects of psychotherapy. He and his clients work directly on this relationship as needed while working as a team to achieve the client's desired goals and objectives. He is focused primarily on adults and older adolescents at this point in his practice.
